Game Lodge: Pondoro Game Lodge is set on the banks of the Olifants River inside the Balule Nature Reserve, which is situated inside the greater Kruger National Park. The lodge consists of six chalets catering for up to 12 people, ensuring privacy and exclusivity. The three luxury suites are air-conditioned and have a private patio, lounge area and an outside shower. The three standard chalets have en-suite bathrooms with a shower overlooking the river, air-conditioning, mosquito nets and a wooden deck. Each chalet has been decorated with an African theme, and are called the Tree, Rock and Earth Suites. At meal times traditional African cuisine fuses effortlessly with modern European trends, and wine can be selected from the extensive wine cellar. Vegetarians are specially catered for. All meals are served on a wooden deck high up in the tree canopy overlooking the Olifants River.
Game Viewing: Balule is a Big 5 game reserve, and big five sightings (lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo and leopard) occur regularly. African wild dogs have also been re-introduced into the area. Hippos and crocodiles are regularly seen during bushwalks with an armed guide along the Olifants River. Three bush hides overlooking waterholes can also be visited. There are no fences between Balule Nature Reserve and the Kruger National Park, which means all the animals move freely between the two.

Airport: The lodge is situated in close proximity to Phalaborwa, Hoedspruit (Eastgate) and Kruger Mpumalanga International Airports. Transfers to and from the airports are provided.

Mvuradona’s transfer vehicle can also collect guests in Johannesberg and transfer them on a scenic 4½ hour journey to the lodge.
